St. John Ambulance Instructor Transfer to Red Cross First Aid Instructor

I am a St. John Ambulance First Aid and CPR Instructor, and I would like to transfer to become a Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED Instructor.  What is the process?

If you are currently a qualified St. John Ambulance First Aid Instructor you qualify to enrol in a Canadian Red Cross First Aid Instructor Transfer Course.

This course is a 20 hour workshop, designed to build on your existing instructional skills and knowledge, ensure you are fully aware of how to perform the skills as per the Red Cross First Aid program, and to orient you to the various first aid courses offered by the Canadian Red Cross.

More information on transferring your St. John Ambulance First Aid Instructor qualifications to the Red Cross by attending the First Aid Instructor Transfer course can be found here:

COVID-19 Update:

Priority Care First Aid halted all in person course delivery on March 17th, following guidance from the Provincial Health Officer.  We wish to send our sincere thanks to all of our new and long term clients for their understanding during these unprecedented times, and are excited to announce that we are now able to return to our high quality EMS and instructor development programs starting July 1st!

Our classes will be much smaller in size for now, and will follow new guidance from WorkSafe BC and the Red Cross on maintaining a safe learning environment.

In the meantime: please continue to take steps to keep yourself, your family and your community safe.  We look forward to working with you all very soon!

Sincerely,

Priority Care First Aid
